Driver Recruiter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Driver Recruiter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Initial contact for potential Independent Contractors;
- Input of data in regards to weekly and monthly turnover both IC and equipment changes;
- Setting up and scheduling travel for new candidates;
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental, individual and company goals;
- Answers internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, courteous and professional manner;
- Recruiting Processor of Independent Contractors and fleets;
- Maintain IC insurance certificates;
- Proactive outreach to potential candidates;
- Assist with IC orientation;
- Review and approve pre-employment DOT Drug screens and Physicals;
- Respond to past employment verifications received from other carriers;
- Performs other administrative duties such as answering telephone lines, background checks in regards to Independent Contractors and their drivers.
Requirements:
- Maintain a high level of customer service with workforce and customers;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Leadership and team building skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products;
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables;
- Computer skills;
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure;
- Be able to work well with all levels of management, executive leadership and support staff.
