Responsibilities:
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently;
- Maintain the Digi Scale files;
- Create appropriate codes for accurate tracking of item file sales;
- Maintain the master file database and oversee the integrity of the stores’ data file;
- Store visits and audits of best practices;
- Ability to identify and communicate issues and work to resolve in a timely manner;
- Purge item file to help maintain accuracy;
- Provide assistance to the store Administrative Assistant as needed;
- Maintain inventory spreadsheets with current costing, pricing, & update purchasing information;
- Partner with management to positively effect change and progress;
- Perform price checks, audit/make tags, and create signage;
- Participation in monthly inventory counts.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills;
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction);
- Ability to handle stressful situations;
- MS Outlook, Word, & Excel proficient;
- HDS or Similar Front End System Experience;
- Digi Scale Management would be considered an asset;
- Exceptional keying and calculation accuracy;
- Inventory experience in a retail setting;
- Highly organized and excellent communication skills;
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Current food handlers permit once employed.
