Financial Services Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Financial Services Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned;
- Some travel may be required;
- Performing, documenting, and summarizing research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues – approximately 10% of your time;
- Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law;
- Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc;
- Develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team members – approximately 10% of your time;
- Preparing complex Tax returns – approximately 25-40% of your time.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service;
- Outstanding active listening skills and the ability to engage customers to determine their unique financial needs and preferences;
- Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office suite, including the ability to navigate between multiple computer applications;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Knowledge of retirement products or other experience in the Financial Industry a plus;
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;
- Proven record of dependability;
- Must be receptive to detailed and frequent performance feedback;
- Bilingual fluency strongly preferred (English/Spanish);
- Proficient PC skills with ability to multitask between computer applications;
- Outstanding active listening skills and the ability to engage customers to determine their unique financial needs;
- Prior experience in a contact center environment is a plus;
- Must be receptive to change and detailed performance feedback Prior experience in a call center environment is a plus;
- Excellent verbal and written skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
