Front Office Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints;
- Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing accordingly;
- Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow the rate-quoting scenario;
- Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system;
- Perform all other duties as requested;
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner;
- Be able to complete a bucket check, room rate verification report, and housekeeping report;
- Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure that all hotel standards are met;
- Be aware of closed out and restricted dates;
- Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings;
- Be familiar with hospitality terminology;
- Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms;
- Be able to perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner;
- Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum one-year supervisory experience preferred;
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period;
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors;
- This position will require you to be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
