Our company is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately;
- Complete other projects as needed;
- Address any issues that would fall within the purview of human resources;
- Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports / recommendations;
- Assists with benefits enrollments and changes;
- Assist in addressing employee issues or concerns that affect morale, performance, and a safe work environment;
- Department specific projects as assigned;
- Review completion of new hire paperwork with onboarding new hires. Answer employee questions as needed with paperwork;
- Conduct references for onboarding employees;
- Performs customer service functions by answering simple employee relations and benefit questions;
- Comply with MobilityWorks Core Values at all times (LOVE IT);
- Organize new employee on-boarding orientations;
- Administration of benefits, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and ADA Accommodation;
- Prepares simple internal and external correspondence;
- Maintain all files in compliance with HR documentation and record retention.
Requirements:
- 3 or more years’ experience in the Human Resources department OR a SHRM certification;
- Able to work unsupervised;
- 2+ years of recent HR Assistant experience;
- Must be well organized and detail oriented;
- Knowledge of ADP and applicant tracking systems;
- Excellent communicator, an individual who is skilled at conveying and interpreting information, ideas or policies to the workforce;
- Self-sufficient and a team player;
- Strong written and verbal skills;
- Associates Degree and 1-2 years previous administrative support experience desired;
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask;
- Excellent customer service skills and experience is required;
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Minimum of one year work experience in Human Resources required;
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills.
