Our company is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the project intake process within the Project Management Office (PMO);
  • Provide administrative support and assist Project Managers’ with schedule changes, resource assignment, change requests, and project closure, etc;
  • Prepare reports and high-quality presentations in support of the PMO function;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Performs reference and background checks on applicants;
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding of new graduate, co-op andinternship hires. This includes;
  • Maintains employee recognition program;
  • Creates recruiting, branding, and/or marketing materials for various positions or events in the company;
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Human Resources career path;
  • Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment;
  • Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change;
  • This is a paid internship for 20 hours per week;
  • Data Entry and general administration;
  • Provide administrative support on projects within HR as needed;
  • Administrative Support for Internship Program.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good project management skills;
  • Creative, good listener;
  • Experience with social media from a business perspective;
  • Task oriented with a high attention to detail;

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business related degree.
