Human Resources Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the project intake process within the Project Management Office (PMO);
- Provide administrative support and assist Project Managers’ with schedule changes, resource assignment, change requests, and project closure, etc;
- Prepare reports and high-quality presentations in support of the PMO function;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Performs reference and background checks on applicants;
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of new graduate, co-op andinternship hires. This includes;
- Maintains employee recognition program;
- Creates recruiting, branding, and/or marketing materials for various positions or events in the company;
- Demonstrated commitment to the Human Resources career path;
- Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment;
- Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change;
- This is a paid internship for 20 hours per week;
- Data Entry and general administration;
- Provide administrative support on projects within HR as needed;
- Administrative Support for Internship Program.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated problem solving skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good project management skills;
- Creative, good listener;
- Experience with social media from a business perspective;
- Task oriented with a high attention to detail;
- Self-starter who is highly motivated and proactive that works well individually as well as collaboratively;
