Our company is looking for a Information Technology Internship to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment service/repair with third party vendors;
- Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures;
- Provide basic training for use of desktop, notebook and handheld computers;
- Perform setup, diagnostic, and simple repair of personal computer and printer hardware;
- Troubleshoot printing issues;
- Perform desktop system OS and application setup;
- Support end-users remotely or in person;
- Monitor Corporate Help Desk requests and determine appropriate response;
- Perform non-warranty equipment repair;
- Perform asset tracking for computer equipment;
- Establish and track calls through helpdesk software;
- Follow Internship Timeline as designated in Internship Orientation.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check;
- Programming experience with web or mobile applications;
- Minimum 3.2 Cumulative GPA;
- Understanding of database design, architectures or data management;
- Knowledge of data structures and program design or development;
- Completed coursework for Calculus I and II as well as Statistics;
- Other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interest in technology;
- Experience in business analysis data analysis or project management;
- Basic problem solving skills in IT related technologies;
- Experience building and troubleshooting computer systems for business or recreation;
- Exposure to SQL, software and hardware knowledge (Example: Java, C, R, Python, SQL & Scala);
- Some experience with non-developer GUI page design in software such as PowerPoint or SharePoint.
