Our company is looking for a Inventory Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Setting high standards for efficiency, quality, and safety in all warehouse activities;
  • Support the management team with initiatives and special projects;
  • Conducting inventory counts, including cycle counts and updating inventory software;
  • Packaging and overseeing outbound product shipments per the established standards;
  • Learning and setting best practices for shipping/receiving and inventory management tasks, etc;
  • Update changes or new status of plants in the system;
  • Record auction results auction day;
  • Efficiently operate company inventory system, point of sale, inventory transfer system, company spreadsheets, and word documents;
  • Ability to sustain constant hand, finger and elbow movement while performing functions;
  • Responsible for Maintain detailed Inventory Records and Purchase Order Records;
  • Accurately stock store, make stock improvements, and report stock issues;
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Resource Management/Inventory;
  • Distributes workload and manages capacity in shipping and stockroom to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner;
  • Pulling customer orders accurately and timely.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a mfg industrial environment is essential;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age;
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx and small package shipments;
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to pass a Live Scan with the City of Los Angeles. Food Handler’s Card a plus;
  • Familiar with the Internet, Social Media, Web Navigation, and Email;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Must have high school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with good driving record;
  • Previous experience in a fire alarm/electrical environment a plus;
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check;
  • Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written;
  • Excellent Material Handling;
  • Operate Phone and Computer simultaneously;
  • Type quickly and professionally, minimum type speed of 30 wpm.
