IS Technical Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IS Technical Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Use test automation to re-create troubleshooting steps in order to expedite troubleshooting complex problems;
- Use test automation to perform desktop performance testing and analysis;
- Document processes and infrastructure changes;
- Support and improve Jenkins installation and all integration points;
- Design, Support, Improve and maintain test automation;
- Act as a leader both internally and externally to the team;
- Assist teams in task and test based automation.
Requirements:
- Enjoys being collaborative and transparent;
- Passion for automation and doing the right thing;
- Ability to understand the vision and execute on it;
- Min 5 years of working in Infrastructure troubleshooting with devices such as Servers, Workstations, and other devices;
- Must have strong communication skills as we communicate with both locally and remote colleagues;
- Min 2 years of working with Jenkins from an administrator perspective;
- Min 5 years of PowerShell working with functions and classes;
- Outgoing with leadership qualities;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- High level of creativity and utilization of different perspectives when looking at problems or testing;
- Min 3 years of working with REST/API calls;
- Min 3 years of VB Scripting.
