Our company is looking for a IT Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and participate in meetings to gain process knowledge and guidance on data management tasks;
  • Work closely with the Data Quality Improvement (DQI) team to build the required formalized practice;
  • Coordinate gathering data metrics and assist in the classification of the data points;
  • Performs tasks associated with gathering, analyzing, and documentation of data assets;
  • Producing dashboards and reports for the data as instructed;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Assist with testing new or updated software solutions, as required;
  • Assist with troubleshooting PC hardware and software problems, working with team members to obtain requirements to correct issues;
  • Assist with ensuring documentation on incidents or requests for support is timely and accurate through our issues tracking application;
  • Assist with the data verifications of hardware assignments;
  • Assist with imaging and deploying computer equipment;
  • Assist with setting up PCs, printers, laptops, scanners, and other peripherals;
  • Extract data from current systems;
  • Create inventory and projection models;
  • Gain understanding of existing business processes.

Requirements:

  • An affinity for providing exceptional customer service;
  • General understanding of interpersonal skills and team facilitation;
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required; experience with Outlook is preferred;
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) along with strong documentation skills;
  • Must be motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges;
  • Advanced Excel skills required;
  • Current student majoring in Information Technology or related field required;
  • Develop interpersonal skills in order to communicate with day-to-day business contacts through follow up calls;
  • Develop planning, organizational and time management skills;
  • Develop interpersonal skills in order to communicate with employees;
  • Develop team-based work competencies;
  • Increase knowledge of computer skills and technology;
  • Student must be available to work part time during spring semester and full time during summer months;
  • Qualified students should have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
