Our company is looking for a It Support Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as first line of support for students, faculty, and staff using the College collaboration software;
- Provide basic account administration support for students, faculty and staff via Active Directory including password resets and account unlocks;
- Deployment and troubleshooting of wireless laptop computers and audio/visual equipment;
- Assisting with help desk functions and computer hardware repairs;
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide backup for other department IT support staff;
- Submit, track and resolve tickets through the online ticketing system;
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to student, staff and faculty laptops, desktops as well as printers;
- The job may include other duties and responsibilities relating to the operations of the Information Technology Department as designated by supervision;
- Organize and install hardware and software upgrades;
- Provide assistance in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
- Solve basic troubleshooting incidents with email, Portal (My CC) and Jenzabar, as well as any other applications;
- Assist students with basic navigation of the lab computers;
- Track daily tasks and provide weekly reports to supervisor;
- Provide basic training to night staff for troubleshooting common issues;
- Assist students, faculty, staff on the use of the College hardware and software.
