Our company is looking for a It Support Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as first line of support for students, faculty, and staff using the College collaboration software;
  • Provide basic account administration support for students, faculty and staff via Active Directory including password resets and account unlocks;
  • Deployment and troubleshooting of wireless laptop computers and audio/visual equipment;
  • Assisting with help desk functions and computer hardware repairs;
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide backup for other department IT support staff;
  • Submit, track and resolve tickets through the online ticketing system;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to student, staff and faculty laptops, desktops as well as printers;
  • The job may include other duties and responsibilities relating to the operations of the Information Technology Department as designated by supervision;
  • Organize and install hardware and software upgrades;
  • Provide assistance in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Solve basic troubleshooting incidents with email, Portal (My CC) and Jenzabar, as well as any other applications;
  • Assist students with basic navigation of the lab computers;
  • Track daily tasks and provide weekly reports to supervisor;
  • Provide basic training to night staff for troubleshooting common issues;
  • Assist students, faculty, staff on the use of the College hardware and software.
