Our company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective and timely follow up with residents, vendors and property management team on all maintenance services provided;
  • Act as technical expert for internal and external customers;
  • Complete or delegate swimming pool opening procedures, daily maintenance, and end of season close down procedures;
  • Other duties and projects as assigned;
  • Function as first line technical support including troubleshooting to maintenance technicians;
  • Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored;
  • Requires availability for “On Call” process;
  • Understands that employee safety and food safety are the primary goals for the company and works in accordance with the company’s safety regulations;
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures per company policy;
  • Leads the upgrade of maintenance systems and facilities to handle any new business to the plant;
  • Coordinates personnel work schedules;
  • Manage the plant’s hazardous materials/hazardous waste program;
  • Plan and maintain spares and consumables for min-max and re-order levels;
  • Trains and councils’ personnel for continual performance development;
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and training to associates as needed.

Requirements:

  • Provide a valid driver license, and have reliable transportation;
  • Experience with packaging equipment manufacturers such as Hayssen, Holmatic, Pearson, Osgood and Prodopak is preferred;
  • Knowledge of general construction including electrical, carpentry and plumbing is essential;
  • Communicates and promotes departmental goals;
  • Ability to operate and maintain maintenance and grounds equipment;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • Schedules, supervises, and directs the work of maintenance associates;
  • Each supervisor will have roughly 15 direct reports;
  • Experience in the areas of leadership, management, communication and customer service skills;
  • Possess or in the last six (6) months pursuing a two (2) years technical degree in an electrical, electro-mechanical or mechatronics field;
  • People management;
  • Electrical and electronic principles;
  • experience running maintenance department and supporting site manager;
  • experience handling all aspects of the make ready process;
  • Plan and maintain spares and consumables for min-max and re-order levels.
