Marketing Assistant I coordinates and assists with the marketing activities of a product or business line. Uses simple marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, digital, customer events and trade shows) to launch and position products and services. Being a Marketing Assistant I may require a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Marketing Assistant I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Our company is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems;
  • Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management;
  • Keep track of sales through regular sales reports;
  • Working in partnership with the other administrative assistants in the group to ensure the optimal level of support for the entire team;
  • Interact daily with customers to ensure our clients current goal demands are being met;
  • Provide input on the marketing plan and report progress towards goals;
  • Development of content (visual and written) to support digital marketing campaigns;
  • Execute sales process of creating a lead, following up and closing sales;
  • Participating in and supporting strategy development related to pursuits;

  • Collect, store, and visualize data for client reports and deliverables;
  • Supports marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to take charge and problem solve independently when needed;
  • 1-5 years of professional experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications;

  • Communication: Make sure there is a clear understanding between you and upper management;
  • Must be proactive in nature and at times, work with minimal supervision;
  • Resourceful and highly adaptive personality. Proactive problem-solver who can make independent decisions is a must;
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative or executive support experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel , PowerPoint , and Publisher. Adobe Editor, Illustrator, and Photoshop a plus;
  • Ability to break down complex information and create clear, concise and compelling content;
  • Excellent organization and time management skills;
  • Ability to travel when required (infrequent);
  • Ability to self-prioritize and manage multiple projects;
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills;
  • Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines.
