Our company is looking for a Member Service Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Open deposit and loan accounts and service existing accounts;
  • Provide efficient support and service to members via chat, phone, text, and email;
  • Promotes services consistent with the credit union sales culture;
  • Follow all credit union policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements;
  • Process personal lines of credit for overdraft protection and/or Visa applications;
  • Respond to members’ requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance;
  • Educate shoppers about the features and benefits of membership that are aligned with their needs so that they maintain their annual membership;
  • Collect and communicate customer insights to the rest of the business to help improve Thrive Market’s offerings;
  • Cross-sell and advise our members of the products that would best suits their needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Phenomenal listener who can recognize cues from customers over phone and chat;
  • Have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills;
  • Creative and analytical problem solver;
  • Authentic care for the well-being of Thrive Market members;
  • You sold something in the past, enjoyed it, and want to do it again;
  • Receptive to performance feedback and quick to put it into action;
  • You are passionate about health and wellness;
  • You know your way around Google Apps and have experience with Customer Relationship Management tools;
  • Ability to self-manage productivity and self-assess performance;
  • Minimum 6 months previous Credit Union/banking experience required;
  • Lending experience;
  • A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
