Our company is looking for a Mortgage Servicing Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Upload documents and images from Central Home Loans inbox to appropriate loan files;
  • Insure the receipt of final settlement statements from escrow are monitored and received within appropriate timeframe;
  • Order out incoming mortgage applications, appraisal, AVM and PCR’s, order condo documents and other required items;
  • Process appraisal fees and check requests;
  • Review, label/index unrecognized images. File/record images into Imaging Center using consistent naming convention provided by Business;
  • Process and manage all construction loans disbursements in compliance with company procedures and service level agreements;
  • Follow up on post-closing escrow holdbacks as well as delayed employer pay stubs;
  • Review documents prepared at closing for any differences and if so, send revised documents and refund the member if necessary;
  • Perform loan quality reviews on identified loan files;
  • Perform additional duties as may be assigned;
  • Mail initial loan disclosures and decline letters within required time frames;
  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the escrow accounts, including timely and proper payments on taxes and insurance;
  • Prepare and run reports on a daily and monthly basis as required;
  • Compliance with industry regulations and guidelines;
  • Professional communication with customers regarding all aspects of the loan.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending required;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Full time hours required, with additional hours as necessary;
  • Prior use of a loan origination system and successful completion of courses or seminars relating to mortgage banking processing preferred;
  • Proficient math skills, with a high degree of accuracy;
  • Experience in processing, funding, or post-closing of conventional, FHA and VA Mortgage loans preferred;
  • Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO);
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and provide customer service required;
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience in Microsoft office programs;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Two years of similar or related experience;
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
