Our company is looking for a Office Services Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for inventory control of mail and shipment supplies. Pick up and deliver supplies to designated locations as needed for mailing projects;
- Delivers special and rush packages;
- Serve as liaison between TMG’s mail and office services team and client departments;
- Performing daily document security process;
- Operates postage machine according to policy and regulations;
- Answers telephone in Center;
- Sorts and processes outgoing mail; effectively process a high volume of incoming and outgoing US and other priority mail;
- Troubleshoot basic equipment problems; coordinates and follows up on;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Performing key-operator services for copy machines in the unit;
- Prioritizes deliveries based on due times;
- Maintain and order inventory of supplies;
- Work may require use of dollies or mail carts and package sizes may vary from envelopes to boxes of various sizes and weight;
- Check all out boxes on final mail sweep of the night;
- Provides follow-up communication on deliveries attempted after normal business hours.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment;
- Ability to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed;
- 1-3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel);
- Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude;
- 6 months to 1 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx and/or UPS;
- A team player with customer focus skills;
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks;
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.Attention to detail;
- Lifting up to 40 lbs;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
- Knowledge of using UPS, FedEx, DHL shipping methods;
- Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point;
- Ability to meet employer’s attendance policy.
