Operations Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Operations Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with professional projects;
- Perform administrative duties on a daily basis; tasks vary;
- Update internal procedure documents;
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager;
- Suport the General Manager in managing and resolving operational issues;
- Coordinate with the General Manager to schedule team meetings and to provide follow-ups;
- Manage, store, and retrieve corporate documents and reports.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment running equipment used in manufacturing processes;
- Bilingual Spanish is helpful;
- Basic photography experience;
- No jewelry background is required, but luxury or diamond experience is preferred;
- Highly proficient with Gmail and Google Apps;
- Some college or Bachelor’s Degree required (or GIA);
- Experience with business and financial procedures;
- Understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management;
- Self-motivated team player with very strong work ethic and an open-minded, cooperative attitude;
- Knowledge of Zoho Suite of applications a huge plus or the ability to get up to speed quickly;
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
- 10+ years of experience with a High School Diploma (College Degree a plus but not required);
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills;
- Able to type at least 60wpm;
- Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
