Our company is looking for a Part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide our customers with accurate and complete information using multiple systems and customer relations tools;
  • Assist with training new Sales Associates;
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store;
  • Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end;
  • Assist in the creation of outgoing customer communications and participate in case review sessions;
  • Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned;
  • Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store;
  • Communicates effectively with all team members;
  • Be empowered to implement original resolutions and create new service protocols;
  • Maintain a neat and organized front end work area;
  • Approve refunds for other Associates up to a specified dollar amount;
  • Effectively prioritize and manage your own time while responding to a diverse range of customer inquiries;
  • Provide in-depth and personalized product demonstrations as needed;
  • Respond directly and independently to customer service inquiries and recommend escalation of cases if needed;
  • Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Ability to squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally;
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis;
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds;
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds;
  • Ability to grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines;
  • Minimum of six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business;
  • Accuracy/attention to detail;
  • Ability to read, write and speak English;
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly;
  • Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates;
  • Knowledge of industry terms and processes;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills;
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner;
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
