Our company is looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support operational projects through assisting with the planning, coordinating, and execution of initiatives;
  • Accurately and timely complete DASH system entries and updates to include vendor notes, freight information, shelf life data, part shipping locations;
  • Manage and maintain all assigned non-inventory purchases to ensure cost and timeliness of delivery;
  • Monitor and maintain vendor compliance with SDS submission;
  • Accurately and timely completed inventory administration activities to include weekly inventory counts and reporting, adjustments and reconciliations;
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the Procurement function;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Drop and pickup parts to jobsites as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to lift 50lbs;
  • Prior experience in an administrative role where interpersonal and email communication skills were essential;
  • Customer service skills;
  • Ability to work in all DecoArt locations;
  • Excellent skill navigating web-based applications to complete data entry, research, and reporting requirements;
  • Organizational skills;
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent. (Vocational/Technical/Business School strongly preferred.);
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Energetic and positive attitude is a must;
  • High school diploma or GED and/or successful achievement of Silver Level NCRC;
  • Good vision and hearing;
  • Good judgment;
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Systems;
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
