Product Design Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Product Design Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate solutions to your product team in a manner that simplifies complexity and generates excitement;
- Collaborate and partner with Product Managers, Designers, Analysts and Developers throughout the discovery, design and development process;
- Create intuitive and elegant product design solutions that solve complex consumer problems and drive business results;
- Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions.
Requirements:
- Graduation date of December 2020 or May 2021;
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Information Architecture or other related field;
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills;
- Persuasive communicator – able to explain complex or intangible concepts to stakeholders at all levels;
- Experience with and/or exposure to Lean UX methods and Agile development processes a plus;
- Collaborative and team oriented work approach;
- Understand how to ideate and design product experiences for a range of customer contexts and canvas sizes;
- Ability to quickly convert ideas into design artifacts;
- Passion for technology and design, and the drive to stay on top of industry trends and best practices;
- Good listener – weighs input from multiple perspectives when forming opinions and recommendations.
