Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on deliveries with vendors;
  • Identify potential subcontractors for manufacturing operations;
  • Assist in product quoting and develop new supply sources.

Requirements:

  • Prior purchasing experience working with international suppliers and international freight forwarding;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Must have working knowledge of Excel;
  • Able to handle phone calls and emails effectively;
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in purchasing;
  • Must be organized and detail oriented;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Must possess general computer skills;
  • Computer skills and ability to multitask;
  • Experience purchasing military products;
  • Must be good in math, accurate and detailed.
