QA Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts validations of scientific data that support facility food safety decisions as needed yearly;
- Maintains a positive relationship with the USDA and keep up with the regulations concerning SSOP and HACCP programs;
- Audits all SSOP and HACCP records providing timely feedback to management;
- Supervise and vet the creation of test cases and test suites that cover all game functionality;
- Coach and mentor testers on approved QA processes;
- Offer guidance to Leads on processing and dealing with development changes to efficiently test;
- Responsible for resource management and prioritization;
- Supervises employees that review of documents related to change management such as work order review;
- Offer guidance to all testers in the troubleshooting of bugs of a complex nature when needed;
- Diagnose and communicate issues at a high-quality level (i.e., complex bug troubleshooting and scheduling conflicts) to upper management;
- Interface regularly with management and testers to obtain and exchange information;
- Effectively and objectively, communicate the status and risks of the project to QA Management and Production;
- Interact directly with Development team to discuss test scheduling and issues;
- Direct employees and /or update departmental documents such as SOPs as required;
- Help track and manage the direction of all test teams and all projects in test.
Requirements:

- Maintains a positive relationship with the USDA and keep up with the regulations concerning SSOP and HACCP programs;
- Must have experience with food safety plant style audits;
- Audits all SSOP and HACCP records providing timely feedback to management;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining required timeliness;
- Be familiar with HACCP and SSOP requirements to include monitoring and implementing validation processes;
- Able to work minimum of 40hrs per week;
- High level of organizational skills, including written and verbal communication, creative problem solving, and commitment to company goals;
- Spanish and English speaking is highly desirable;
- Self motivated, with strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision;
- Knowledge and experience with tools for scheduling and tracking deliverables;
- Advanced skill set for using Windows applications and hardware as well as a demonstrated skillset with consoles;
- Strong conflict resolution skills;
- BS in Computer Science or previous experience in Test Automation is desired;
- Flexibility to changing priorities.
