Our company is looking for a Sales and Marketing Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting managers with negotiations;
- Generate sales through initializing transactions and utilizing proper closing techniques;
- Articulate the benefit of traveling with Wyndham Destinations;
- Establish commonality and build rapport with prospective owners;
- Attend ongoing, advanced sales and career training;
- Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders;
- Observing and carrying out sales processes;
- Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions;
- Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment;
- Help drive attendance and generate interests in Saratech sponsored events;
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Works well under pressure and is adaptable to change;
- May be required to perform other related job duties;
- Ability to work 40 hours/week between June and August and winter break with 10 hours/week during fall semester;
- Assist in updating the company website and social media channels.
Requirements:
- Attend and comply with annual health, safety, training and education requirements;
- General computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performance a must;
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentational skills;
- Basic HTML, Salesforce, or WordPress knowledge a plus;
- Represents the organization in a respectful and professional manner;
- Subject to strict background check;
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage numerous activities;
- Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean;
- Experience with Social Media;
- Knowledge of marketing and sales principles is helpful;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Maintains strict confidentiality of all customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected;
- Complies with all organizational policies and procedures;
- Able to work well under pressure.
