Our company is looking for a Salon Receptionist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for retail sales for all walk-in customersHandle all POS transactions including opening and closing of the register;
  • Coordinate Promotional Sales displays and actively find creative ways to market the salon;
  • Greet each customer professionally by name, escort all clients through the salon, and give salon tours when necessary;
  • Perform side tasks including maintaining cleanliness of lobby and tanning rooms, restocking product and disposables,
  • Learn + become proficient in Booker (our appointment booking + processing system);
  • Greet + check in/check out clients;
  • Answer client questions surrounding the tanning/sugaring process, formula, services;
  • Learn + maintain expert level knowledge of airbrush tanning + sugaring services, memberships, and all S+B products;
  • Maintain and uphold safety standards by identifying and correcting conditions that affect salon safety;
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures and work rules;
  • Handle all POS transactions including opening and closing the register;
  • Communicate effectively with management, customers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Attend work timely and consistently, including attending mandatory staff meetings, training sessions or as otherwise required by management.

Requirements:

  • Tech-savvy (experience with point-of- sale systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling/Calendar Apps);
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, coworkers and management;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends;
  • Exceptional time management skills, exhibiting sound judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
