Service Supervisor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Service Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity;
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc;
- Facilitate & document frequent “tool box” type meetings with emphasis on safety, workmanship, training, and examples of extraordinary service;
- Reasonable travel as required;
- Flexibility to work overtime & weekends as required;
- Accuracy and timeliness of technician timesheets and expense reports;
- Supervision and scheduling of multiple service technicians;
- Preparation of inspection & repair reports and assist with repair estimates & quotations;
- Assist with improvement of and compliance with quality procedures and typical practices;
- Maintain a clean, organized & professional work environment to include shop, warehouse, office, vehicles, and job sites;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Train staff according to company expectations;
- Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner;
- Assist General Manager with Various Tasks.
Requirements:
- Have an active driver’s license;
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- Provide documentation regarding their previous employment;
- Obtain a DOT medical certification;
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc;
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity;
- Supervisory experience preferred;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient with mobile devices and computers. Advanced proficiency with Excel preferred;
- Ability to problem solve quickly and act accordingly;
- Proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments;
- Outgoing and engaging personality;
- Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing;
- Experience in customer service or supervisor roles.
