Our company is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate shipping paperwork;
  • Using a warehouse management system prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight;
  • Schedule or monitor air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products;
  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials;
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick-up of goods;
  • Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment;
  • Assist and evaluate needs with shipping points, services, weights and freight permits, and other information needed;
  • Identify errors on packing lists and invoices and correct them;

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in supervision/management;
  • Achieve positive results, balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale;
  • Quality Management experience;
  • Required Degree: AA Degree in Logistics or Management or related field;
  • Take corrective action of employees including counseling, monitoring and disciplining if needed;
