Our company is looking for a Site Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of client information;
  • Provide on-site tax expertise; answer client and tax preparer’s questions, and provide assistance as necessary;
  • Conduct accurate quality reviews of tax returns; confirm returns are prepared within the scope of the VITA program and the preparer’s certification;
  • Incorporate parents into program planning;
  • At least 2 years academic advising experience;
  • Facilitate the development of community roles and responsibilities that foster a youth’s sense of purpose and belonging in the community;
  • Working knowledge of computers including word-processing, spreadsheets and databases;
  • Utilize student voice in choosing activities and develop activities that appropriately engage and challenge students;
  • Attending meetings and special events;
  • Data entry into in-house database and Microsoft Excel;
  • Must be flexible in availability based on students need and provide own transportation;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in education, counseling or related field;
  • Manages worker’s compensation through onsite safety audits and accident investigations to complete necessary paperwork;
  • Must assist with office operations/phones/filing or any other requirements as defined by the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Job Description;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with and provide positive support to students, parents, and families.

Requirements:

  • Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate within thirty days of hire;
  • Reading and following lesson plans;
  • High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) prior to being hired;
  • Demonstrating child development theories;
  • Working with children;
  • Six months of working with children in a learning environment or related experience;
  • Knowing basic mathematical concepts;
  • Proficiency in English and target language;
  • High School or GED Graduate. Some college preferred. Prior experience working with at-risk teens highly recommended;
  • Ability to travel to different locations throughout Kane and DuPage counties;
  • Must have a good driving record;
  • Must have warm personality and a helpful attitude;
  • Must possess the necessary organizational skills to supervise, lead, coordinate, facilitate and design activities and programs;
  • Must be available either 9AM-1PM or 9AM-3PM, 20-35 hours per week;
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience.
