Stocker Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Stocker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Doing manual pulls and counts as needed;
- Other tasks as assigned;
- Stocking the automated pulling system as needed;
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products;
- Maintaining Heebs high standards for product quality, freshness and sanitation;
- Stocking;
- Ability to continually stand; regularly bend, twist, stoop, and reach;
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained;
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
- Lift and push product and equipment consistently weighing between 30-50 pounds;
- General Wearhouse;
- Temp to hire opportunity;
- Work required overtime as directed;
- Assisting in other duties, as assigned;
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
Requirements:
- 18+ years old;
- Can lift 50+ lbs;
- High School Diploma;
- Must pass drug screen;
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds;
- able to work in coolers & freezers;
- able to be on your feet for long periods of times;
- Basic math skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience working in a warehouseAbility to work a physically demanding job;
- able to work as a team with others;
- able to remain physically busy throughout your shift;
- able to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems;
- able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
