Our company is looking for a Stockroom Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Documents discrepancies and informs the supervisor;
  • Maintains inventory through computer application. Performs clerical duties related to maintaining stock inventories and stockroom;
  • Responsible for ordering , daily inventory management, and checking equipment;
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promoted workplace safety and environmental practice;
  • Performs responsible inventory work in stockroom. The position is responsible for receiving and distributing all materials and parts stored;
  • Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment as needed;
  • Verify and inspect receipt of incoming goods;
  • Maintains master file of stock items by assigning number to new stock items; updating inventory counts and recording reorder point;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
  • Manage inventory replenishment reporting;
  • Maintenance of very high standards of inventory accuracy;
  • Process and package parts for shipment;
  • Oversee stockroom operations including inventory control, materials movement, receiving, cycle counting and physical inventories;
  • Support production of electromechanical components;
  • Collect and forward packing slips and shipping documentation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines;
  • US. citizen or resident status;
  • Basic math and geometry/trigonometry;
  • Mathematical skills;
  • 2+ yrs. previous work in shipping and receiving warehouse;
  • Present a clean, neat appearance;
  • Be willing to continually learn new products and procedures;
  • Be able to perform duties with minimal supervision, adjust to changes and demonstrate drive and initiative;
  • Be willing to support all phases of the department and company as needed;
  • Effective time management;
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work area. Sweep and mop floors regularly;
  • Be able to interpret parts manual and use related computer programs;
  • Motivated to continuous self development and training;
  • Be capable of learning all phases of the Parts Department operation with the desire to increase responsibility as the need develops;
  • Be willing to comply with the employee handbook.
