Summer Intern – Finance Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Summer Intern – Finance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in process improvement projects;
- Support market unit controllers in the monthly closing process and reconciliation of revenue accounts;
- Help to create sales forecasts and perform budget variance analysis;
- Provide support to market unit controllers to help improve efficiency of business tasks;
- Provide day to day business partnership to the following teams: controlling, commercial finance, commissions, sales operations, and shared services;
- Prepare and analyze data and key metric reporting.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Good written and verbal language and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Show accountability and think analytically;
- Systematic and effective approach to work;
- Previous experience in controlling and accounting would be a plus;
- Ability to easily get acquainted with new IT landscape;
- Student of a university, ideally in Accounting or Finance;
- Ability to work in a team.
