Responsibilities:
- knowledge of trademark docketing systems and processes, preferably WebTMS;
- excellent analytical and writing skills, and;
- a successful track record of independently managing projects and deadlines,
- a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills,
- strong oral and written communication skills and experience with client and foreign counsel interactions and direct communications,
Requirements:
- A JD received with strong academic credentials and state bar admission;
- Experience with copyright, advertising, and other IP counseling and transactional matters preferred [but not required]
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong academic credentials;
- 2-4 years of experience in U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement;
- six years prosecution-specific experience;
- Strong prosecution and search skills, foreign prosecution experience and large law firm or IP boutique experience;
- Former USPTO Examiner experience or in-house experience is a plus;
