Our company is looking for a US-VA-Herndon to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) activities;
  • Managing transition of support services for new applications and new business;
  • Assisting Solutions Delivery with deployment of major upgrades after TRB approval;
  • Supporting security operations centers in supporting systems reviews and potential incident investigations;
  • Managing a team to provide application support to over 90+ applications (Enterprise/COTS);
  • Overseeing timely delivery of quality technical support service to clients;
  • Providing oversight for enhancements projects for supported applications;
  • Researching and working on applying new techniques to enhance helpdesk experience for the clients;
  • Submitting and reviewing Change Requests for AOSS applications to aid in issue resolution and the SDF Change Control process;
  • Evaluating and advise on all access requests for privileged accounts to IT systems;
  • Respond to calls, emails, voicemails, and other request for assistance and troubleshooting related to business systems software;
  • Using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access to perform data analysis issues/discrepancies, and generate valuable insights;
  • Working with both clients and team members to gather, refine, and operational process requirements;
  • Create, collect information, escalate, and update service tickets;
  • Articulating verbally, collaborating with others, and communicating your findings well in writing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) and techniques;
  • Experience in planning, prioritizing and scheduling help desk activities to ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time;
  • Experience with Azure and AWS preferred;
  • Expertise in Windows Administration, Unix Administration, Java Development, SQL database architecture, and scripting languages;
  • BS Degree;
  • Serena Dimensions;
  • Has experience with providing application support to over 90+ applications;
  • 5+ yrs experience required in website support services;
  • Demonstrable skills troubleshooting a wide range of technical problems;
  • Strong Microsoft Project experience;
  • Full software development lifecycle with experience in CMMI, PMBOK and ITIL implementations;
  • Power BI experience;
  • 4+ years of IT experience;
  • Have 5+ years’ experience in Oracle RDBMS (version 11c/12c or higher).
