Our company is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Store, stack or palletize material in accordance with prescribed storage and shipping methods;
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested;
  • Operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties;
  • Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual reporting or mission requirements;
  • Shipping and Receiving support;
  • Respond to requests from warehouse lead for logistics support as required;
  • examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage;
  • noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages;
  • selected candidate may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties;
  • rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials;
  • Oversees inventory and maintains required Table of Allowances (TOA) material in warehouse locations, to include shelf life surveillance;
  • Other duties may include;
  • Material handling, packaging, marking, movement;
  • routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods;
  • Forklift or equipment operations.

Requirements:

  • Constant work history;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment;
  • Must be willing to undergo Federal Drug screening and Background check;
  • Actively contribute to and influence other associates in maintaining a safe, clean work environment and displaying a positive team spirit / attitude;
  • Train new hires and retrains team associates as required. Ensure SOP’s are rolled out and training completed;
  • Operate power lifts, hand trucks, carts and other material handling equipment in performing warehousing duties;
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested;
  • Familiar with Army transportation and transfer documentation;
  • Must have a Secret Clearance;
  • High School diploma with minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience;
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lb regularly to populate storage racks and organize pallets of equipment;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Must be a US Citizen;
  • Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency with asset management and maintenance tracking database software;
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with warehouse experience or Army logistics experience.
