Activity Aide Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Activity Aide to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Run the assigned activities programs, monitor residents at all times;
- Works with volunteers by providing support and direction;
- Helps setup, dismantle and store activity supplies and seasonal decorations;
- Cleans up after each activity, leaving the room clean and neat;
- Must answer resident call lights in a timely manner;
- Assists residents, monitors their safety during group activities;
- Assists the Activities Director in the planning, development and implementation of resident activities;
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed;
- Invites and encourages all residents to attend programs as appropriate;
- Work schedule may include some weekends, evenings and holidays;
- Will be responsible for documentation and record keeping of resident activity participation.
Requirements:
- CNA Licensed or NA Certificate;
- Acceptable State of Hawaii eCrim report and Field-print background check;
- Proof of 2-Step and current TB Clearance (within a year);
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (No Online CPR);
- Physical Exam (within a year);
- Must be 18 years of age and HSD or equivalent;
- FT & PT Hours Available,- Days, Evenings & Weekends Hours;
