Our company is looking for a Dog Groomer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have;
  • Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets;
  • Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process;
  • Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles;
  • Recommending suitable products to pet owners;
  • Dematting and detangling hair as required;
  • Routinely cleaning work areas;
  • Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears;
  • Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations;
  • Lead the effort to develop the policies and procedures to be followed by all DogPerfect locations;
  • Launching and performing grooming services at applicable location;
  • Assist in establishing the grooming service offering including pricing, customer engagement, marketing, and other strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven professional grooming experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • The ability to treat all animals with compassion;
  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment;
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time;
  • Sound understanding of animal behavior;
  • Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous.
