Our company is looking for a Licensed Nail Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, and sanitary work station environment and pedicure station;
  • Provide custom nail services and treatments to customers;
  • Promote other services or products as needed;
  • Exhibits a positive attitude at all times and upholds acac’s values of teamwork, customer service, and engagement;
  • When supervisor or team members call or email, promptly returns contact;
  • Parks in team member designated areas;
  • If unable to work, proactively seeks substitutes for shifts and immediately informs supervisor of the substitution;
  • Performs the Essential Functions and Responsibilities as described (other duties may be assigned);
  • Attends departmental meetings and any other meetings as requested;
  • Helps with Service Day;
  • Helps with acac programs, special events, or activities outside department;
  • Reads, signs, and abides by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook;
  • Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; helps whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean;
  • Checks acac email daily;
  • Attends New Hire Launch within 30 days of employment.

Requirements:

  • Current state manicurist or cosmetology license;
  • Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques;
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications a plus;
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds;
  • Must have valid Nail License;
  • Able to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Must be available to work during the hours outlined in the Job Description;
  • Prior customer service experience highly desired;
  • Superior customer service skills;
  • Willing to help both within and outside of the parameters of this position;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Willing to and take the initiative to learn about acac programs and events;
  • Highly dependable and prompt;
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, and bend for the duration of a shift.
