Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers to determine areas of process improvement;
  • Give guidance and leadership to 14 operators;
  • Assist the manager in the coordination of Shipping and Receiving schedules;
  • Regularly act as a backup to, or sits in for the shift manager;
  • Monitor the mood of the team and plant and bring issues to the attention of plant management;
  • Direct daily work flow / assign work to employees;
