Summer Camp Instructor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Summer Camp Instructor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily pre-camp meetings, sharing updates with camp staff as necessary;
- Communicate with parents during pick-up and drop-off time;
- Ensure smooth and safe transitions between camp activities throughout Field Museum’s indoor and outdoor spaces;
- Before the start of camp, assist Learning Center staff in scaffolding camp activities according to the age-breakdown of camper enrollment each week.
Requirements:
- Be extremely flexible and able to assess situations and act instantly;
- Be engaging, patient, energetic and adaptable;
- Be able to lead natural history-themed lessons in a fun, enthusiastic way;
- Have excellent conflict resolution skills and communication skills;
- Possess the ability to adapt curriculum.
