Our company is looking for a CNC Mill Machinist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive a first article inspection;
  • Receive blueprint and job traveler from supervisor and machine part(s);
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;
  • Inspect parts in process and when completed;
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
  • Sets-up mills, tools, attachments, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices;
  • calculate speed and feed of machine;
  • Change tools and make offset adjustments;
  • edit CNC programs as required;
  • understand and make adjustments to hold geometric tolerances and geometric dimensions;
  • Load/unload tools;
  • Meet schedules and maintain quality standards;
  • Understand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI),QSR, ISO, SOP’s work rules and safety guidelines;
  • Set up machines;
  • Set up and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines according to instructions and engineering drawings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements- H.S. Diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience with Toshiba 777, Giddings & Lewis 800 & Fanuc Controls Highly Preferred;
  • Ability to read, write and speak English;
  • Working knowledge of MI’s, QSR, ISO, SOP’s, work rules and safety guidelines;
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience related to the set-up and operation of CNC milling machines;
  • Must have experience with steady rests & Fanuc Controls;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Must have experience with rough forging, contouring heads and machining Large Parts;
  • Must have 10 years of experience machining with Large CNC Horizontal Boring Mills;
  • Must be able to speak and understand the English language;
  • Experience interpreting blueprint dimensions and using measuring tools;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience with Inconel material highly preferred;
  • Basic computer skills plus reading, writing, and some advanced math skills required;
  • Preferred: Three years experience in CNC machining.
