Our company is looking for a Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with receiving and shipment of materials and products;
  • Test prototypes and production units, using standard test equipment, and document results;
  • Initiate and complete manufacturing and inventory documentation throughout the manufacturing process;
  • Perform quality assurance analysis on products in process;
  • Capture data, verify conformance to specifications and document results;
  • Performs other duties as directed;
  • Provide feedback during product design reviews;
  • Identify and resolve assembly problems with the support of engineering.

Requirements:

  • Vacuum component assembly experience including vacuum fittings (compression fittings, swagelock) O-ring seals, clean environment assembly;
  • Cleaning techniques for vacuum applications;
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have worked with, designed, and built chemical detection instruments;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • Experience working in an environment that interfaces with engineering department on a regular basis;
  • Experience working in an advanced R&D environment;
  • Associates degree;
  • Versed in EMI/ESD mitigation practices and prevention;
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Cleanroom assembly practices and mechanical assembly;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems;
  • MS Office: Word, Excel. Experience with MRP data entry;
  • Able to retain and reapply learned skills/tasks;
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
  • Pride in quality craftsmanship;
  • 0-3 years of experience in a high specification manufacturing environment.
