Marketing Automation Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Automation Platform expert;
- Understand and follow email and marketing automation processes including workflow documentation and QA testing;
- Meet or exceed internal SLAs and seamlessly coordinate across time-zones as needed;
- Report on critical email and marketing automation campaign metrics;
- Keep up-to-date on email and marketing automation best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing and projected results;
- Ensure responsive/mobile email, landing page and form designs meet brand standards as well as being cross-browser and cross-device compatible;
- Understand nurture programs as it pertains to execution of email and marketing automation campaigns;
- Develop and manage digital templates (emails, landing pages) within the marketing automation platform.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS;
- Experience with Marketo, particularly Design Studio;
- Experience with email marketing for ecommerce as well as demand generation;
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, at a minimum;
- Candidate should expect to work normal business hours but be willing to work outside of normal business hours on occasion;
- Superior written communication skills;
- Willingness to go above and beyond to meet deadlines and maximize efforts;
- Strong interpersonal skills to guide and mentor team members and work well with clients and teams in a variety of settings;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail – messaging skills are essential to this role;
- Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot tables;
- Preferred experience with Salesforce (lightening edition) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
- Open and transparent communication style with a positive and results-oriented attitude under pressure;
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and business problem-solving skills, including customer segmentation;
- Strong process orientation and attention to detail;
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
