Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Record data and report findings;
  • Follow written and verbal directions;
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally;
  • Comply with Company standards associated with ISO: 9001 and AS9100;
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed;
  • Report defective material or questionable conditions to production department supervisor;
  • Pulling and Stocking finished goods;
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database;
  • Interpreting machine prints to determine specifications & ensure assemblies meet QA guidelines;
  • File certificates from suppliers;
  • Use of a micrometer, swede gauge & height gauges, inspecting detail and very fine needle point inspection & assembly;
  • Perform all duties following Hayward’s safety policies and procedures;
  • Will be responsible for writing brief production reports to management;
  • Climb ladders, platforms, stairs;
  • Will be required to do basic math.

Requirements:

  • Proficient use of PC for data entry and maintaining inspection records;
  • Minimum three (3) years of electronics inspection experience manufacturing test environment;
  • Able to use inspection tools i.e. micrometer, microscope, calipers, pin gages;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Signoff on gages prepared by Gage Room personnel;
  • 2+ years working in an electronics manufacturing environment;
  • Can work in a cleanroom;
  • Basic math;
  • Input results of inspection into the Epicor Vantage system and specific department data bases;
  • Minimum high school education or equivalent;
  • Perform measurements for hardness, roundness, perpendicularity and raceway characteristics using Wilson testers, Formscan and Form Tallysurf equipment;
  • Wafer/die inspection experience required;
  • Past experience working for an ISO company;
  • Perform final bearing inspection on completed assemblies;
  • Ability to use calipers, protractor, micrometer, specialized gaging and CMM after training.
