Our company is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Process Engineers, Incoming inspectors, AOI inspectors and FQA inspectors;
  • Create detailed software testing plans and project documentation related to the testing phases of the SDLC;
  • Responsible for preparation, hosting, execution, and generation of responses for client, regulatory and internal audits;
  • Supervise in developing more predictive and intelligent testing approaches on automation and innovative testing products and solutions;
  • Collaborate with other managers to establish QC standards and ensure quality, reliability and cost reduction;
  • Perform root analysis and corrective action;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present and communicate with senior managers;
  • Work closely with internal cross functional teams;
  • Supervise and direct Quality Assurance staff consisting of QA Technicians;
  • Interface with customers to resolve quality concerns;
  • Understand operations performance management of quality metrics and share best practices;
  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance;
  • Partners with Subject Matter Experts to drive development of clear objectives. for education packages that improve competency;
  • Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations;
  • Lead company Continuous Improvement initiative.

Requirements:

  • Experience with FSMA and current food related regulations. PCQI Certificate. HACCP Certification;
  • SQF Practitioner;
  • Experience working in an fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, knowledge of robotic welding peferred;
  • Travel may be up to 80-100%
  • Prior food or beverage experience required along with a 4 year degree;
  • Certification and/or Licenses HACCP certification;
  • Able to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment;
  • Formulate and maintain Quality Control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals;
  • Manage incoming workload of First Article Inspections;
  • Work closely with cross functional teams during new product introduction using APQP methodology or similar NPI/NPD models;
  • Work closely with Supply Chain peers to create, manage and implement Quality changes and Process Improvements;
  • Experience working in Jira;
  • Confident independent decision making;
  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance;
  • Works well in a group problem solving situations; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others’ attention.
