Waste Water Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Waste Water Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with other operators throughout customer plant in order to maintain the plants water treatment equipment;
- Comply with all client safety parameters;
- Responsible for accurate record keeping of client data such as residual content of chemicals, water turbidity, and water pressure;
- Control flows throughout wastewater treatment processes;
- Proper operation of plant skimmer;
- Daily clean foot valves and flow meters at pump stations;
- Help maintenance with projects or work in area of responsibility;
- Monitor MBBRs;
- Proper operation of disinfection system;
- Service and Lube pumps and gear boxes as needed;
- Monitor aerator and mixers;
- Proper operation of cooling towers;
- Proper operation of evaporator;
- Dumps container of grease solids using forklift;
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Monitor, clean, maintain, and secure tools, equipment, and company vehicles on a daily basis to eliminate potential hazards and/or losses;
- Work with crew members to accomplish assigned and required tasks;
- Other duties as required;
- Maintain a clean job site at all plant, well, and pump station locations;
- Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed daily.
