Our company is looking for a Hospital Security Officer FT to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with client executives, physicians, client staff, patients, and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner;
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data;
  • Assist the on-duty Shift Supervisor in filling open posts;
  • Ability to analyze problems, determine root causes, and identify and determine results oriented solutions;
  • Distribute all security and/or emergency information in a timely manner;
  • Initiate entering all calls for service into the incident reporting system;
  • Immediately report any call offs to the on duty Shift Supervisor;
  • Entering all requests for service into the dispatch log;
  • Assist in communicating policies, announcements and job openings to assigned personnel;
  • Correctly completing appropriate paperwork in a timely manner;
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and responsibly use, store, and maintain assigned equipment;
  • Answer all in-coming security and/or emergency telephone and radio calls in a timely manner;
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately;
  • Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively;
  • Performs all other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to provide quality customer service;
  • 7 Years of verifiable experience, with 3 years in security, customer service or related field;
  • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions;
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites;
  • At least 18 years of age;
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard;
  • Remain flexible to ever changing environments; adapt well to different situation; as well as have flexible availability outside of regular schedule;
  • Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; may require computer skills;
  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying;
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test;
  • Neat and professional appearance;
  • Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment);
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently;
  • High school diploma or Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (Certificates of Completion not acceptable);
  • Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
