Mobile Patrol Officer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mobile Patrol Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives or company management;
- Alarm Verification – promptly respond to alarms in your designated area prompted by our onsite monitoring facility;
- Operation of KNOX KeySecure Boxes;
- Proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties;
- Entering all pertinent and necessary information into Silvertrac;
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems;
- Keeping the Patrol Division Supervisor informed of all problems, unique situations, etc. that occur on your shift;
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations;
- Respond to incidents regarding security and safety concerns;
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service at various social levels and across diverse cultures;
- Deter criminal activity and misconduct;
- Drive safely at all times and in all driving conditions;
- Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols (interior and/or exterior);
- Control access and egress into client property;
- Proper maintenance of the designated patrol vehicle, e.g. routine, scheduled, preventive or corrective maintenance, vacuuming, car washes, etc.
Requirements:
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license for state of operation and any required endorsements for class of vehicle operated;
- stand or walk on a variety of surfaces for long periods of time;
- Have a neat and professional appearance;
- Must be at least 21 years old;
- Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record of 3+ years;
- Possess effective customer service skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and oral);
- has dependable transportation;
- is 18 years of age or older (21 years old for some positions);
- Must have a phone (home or cell);
- climb stairs, ramps or ladders as needed;
- Willing to work a flexible schedule;
- Be a high school graduate or have a GED;
- has military service (not required, but preferred);
- Must be able to pass a full criminal and background check, and drug test.
