Our company is looking for a Part Time Security Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED);
  • Clear criminal record. Must clear background check;
  • State Guard license is required;
  • Minimum 3 – 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems;
  • Pass a regulated drug test (where required);
  • Class D Security license is required;
  • Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed;
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed;
  • Promote safe work practices;
  • Position is subject to pre employment drug screening consistent with federal state and local laws;
  • Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred;
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers;
  • Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation;
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation;
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English;
  • Minimum 3 – 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems;
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States;
  • Have the ability to walk for extended periods of time;
  • Position is subject to pre employment drug screening consistent with federal state and local laws;
  • Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting;
  • Ability to ride a bicycle;
  • Possess and maintain a valid AZ driver’s license;
  • Have the ability to generate incident reports and conduct daily activity logs.
