Our company is looking for a Security Officer – Full Time to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate;
  • Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property;
  • Minimum 3 – 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems;
  • Promote safe work practices;
  • Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Access control for guests, tenants and vendors;
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
  • Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building;
  • Enforcement of Client and Company policies and procedures;
  • Preserving order and acting to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises;
  • Pass a regulated drug test (where required);
  • Preparing logs and reports as required;
  • Position is subject to pre employment drug screening consistent with federal state and local laws;
  • Clear criminal record. Must clear background check.

Requirements:

  • Speaks, reads and writes in the English language;
  • Minimum 3 – 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems;
  • Have the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time;
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, with excellent writing abilities to capture detailed incident reports;
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures;
  • Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting;
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers;
  • Required to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract;
  • As a condition of employment, candidate must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screenings such as criminal background checks;
  • Work in a fast paced environment;
  • Valid Hawaii State Security Guard Card Certification required;
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills;
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
