Security Guard – Unarmed is responsible for the security and order of buildings, grounds or other work sites. Periodically patrols related areas examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are properly secured. Being a Security Guard – Unarmed may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Security Guard – Unarmed possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.

Our company is looking for a Unarmed Security Guard to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- patrolling the interior and exterior of the contract site;
- performing duties in accordance with Post Orders;
- Responding to major occurrences with intelligence, speed and accuracy;
- Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses;
- Creating detailed reports on building activity;
- Liaising with security and building management to communicate, escalate, and solve problems;
- controlling/restricting access to the property.
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check;
- Must have a NC state guard license;
- Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc;
- At least 18 years of age;
- Must have a valid CPR certification;
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications;
- Must pass background screening;
- Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant security experience;
- Ability to meet and greet general public and maintain poise and self-control under stress;
- Texas state Security Guard license;
- Must be a US Citizen;
- Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen/eye exam/hearing test.
