VP, Chief Information Security Officer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a VP, Chief Information Security Officer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Buildand develop strong cyber and technology talent pipeline;
- Projectand Investment portfolio of capabilities and technologies to improve overallmaturity of Clarios’ cyber program;
- Developingan enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness, education, and training program forall Clarios staff;
- ManageCyber threat operations and incident management;
- Leadexecutive to establish integrated incident management based on protecting Clarios’customers, reputation, and assets;
- Ensureregulatory compliance across all Clarios business operations, most notably inthe areas of PCI-DSS and ITAR/FISMA.
Requirements:
- Security accreditation from a globally recognizedSecurity Institution and a member in good standing;
- A minimum of 15+ years IT experience with 10+ years ofsecurity specialization;
- Regulatory compliance experience, with Sarbanes-Oxleymandatory. HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, European Privacy Directive, etc. a plus;
- Experience presenting to senior level management andBoard directors;
- Work experience in different countries andcultures would be a benefit;
- Knowledge of operating in a complex,multi-national environment;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or ComputerScience discipline: Master’s degree isdesirable;
- Ability to team with strategic providers in defining solutionsthat meet business and regulatory requirements;
- Proven ability to develop business cases for policyand technology introductions;
- Proven experience leading global teams, projects and implementations;
- Ability to coach, motivate and developcareers of others within a global team.
